Hidden Treasures Rum Bar & Grill, located in Ponce Inlet, FL, has been around for over 35 years. The original dining room was entirely pine from top to bottom. It truly was a blank slate, a space that was not being utilized to its maximum capacity. We took on the challenge to maximize the dining area because we understand that more seats mean greater profit opportunity. Now, by doubling the seating capacity while keeping traffic flow areas efficient, they were ready to improve the atmosphere. A pop of white and blue color tones emphasizes the view of the Halifax River. Being right on the water, it had to have that beach feel without the typical “beachy” look. Our vision was a nautical theme, and that’s where we started, building it out with a little imagination. Every space must tell a story, and this one was about ‘sailing on an old ship in the open waters, looking out of the portholes as the lantern lights sway above you.’ The dining room is a bright space for those dark and gloomy stormy days, as well as for the sunny daytime afternoons. There are swing-in windows with a long counter bar where you can sit and watch the water move while you travel amongst the oceans. We were able to achieve that, and more!
