Partners in business and in life, Rita and Edgar built Nouveau International Design & Build™ on a simple but powerful premise — that the people who design your space and the people who build it should be working from the exact same vision. With over 40 years of combined experience spanning from breaking ground to finished design, they made that a reality.
Together they bring humor, warmth, and an unwavering belief that a beautiful, well-designed environment has a profound impact on the quality of people's lives — fostering peace of mind, creativity, prosperity, and clarity. Founder of Nouveau Homes & Development — the construction side of Nouveau International Design & Build™ — Edgar Taylor III holds his certified general contractor license across both residential and commercial builds. What sets Eddie apart is not just what he builds; it is how seamlessly he builds it.
Working alongside the design team at Nouveau International Design™, he bridges the space between creative vision and structural reality with the kind of precision that only comes from decades of experience. Every finish, every detail, every deadline. He owns it.
Eddie oversees each project from the first blueprint to the final walkthrough, and his clients feel that presence throughout. Complex builds, elevated expectations, zero compromise on quality — that is simply where he operates best.
When he is not on a jobsite, Eddie is outside or in the gym. He keeps it moving.
The founder and Principal Interior Designer behind Nouveau International Design™. Growing up immersed in the construction industry gave her something most designers never have — a foundational understanding of how spaces are actually built, not just imagined. That knowledge informs every decision she makes, from the first concept to the final installation.
With over 23 years in the field, Rita has shaped spaces across the full spectrum of residential and commercial design. She holds membership with the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID Affiliate, #2048386) and the National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA/KBIS, #2069203) — credentials that reflect both her breadth of expertise and her commitment to the craft at its highest level.
Rita’s design perspective is rooted in a life spent moving through the world with intention. Her travels have not just informed her aesthetic — they have sharpened it. She draws from global influences and translates them into spaces that feel both elevated and deeply personal to the client in front of her.

She arrived at design the way the best ones do — through a life fully lived in it. Raised in Paris and formally trained at SCAD before earning her Master of Architecture at Parsons, she brings a global fluency to every project that cannot be taught in a classroom alone.
Her portfolio spans luxury residential and commercial work across the United States and internationally, each project marked by the same thing: an absolute refusal to choose between beauty and function. For Lara, they are never in conflict.
At Nouveau International Design™, she brings that architectural precision into the interior world — shaping spaces that are as considered in their structure as they are in their finish. Bespoke concepts, timeless proportion, and a meticulous eye that was shaped by Paris and sharpened by years of practice at the highest level.
Lara owns the technical side of the design process. Elevations, renderings, architectural detailing — she translates vision into precise, buildable reality. Her work is the bridge between what Rita conceives and what Eddie constructs, and that position requires someone who thinks in both beauty and structure simultaneously. Lara does exactly that.
With experience across luxury residential and commercial projects in the United States and internationally, she has built her career on the belief that great architecture is not decoration. It is discipline.
The first voice you hear and the reason everything runs the way it does. As Office Administrator at Nouveau International Design™, she is the connective fabric of the firm — the person who keeps client information precise, the team aligned, and the day moving without friction.
Tabbetha relocated from Iowa to the Ormond Beach area over 16 years ago and has made it entirely her own. She brings a warmth to every client interaction that sets the tone for what working with Nouveau actually feels like from the very first call. Approachable, sharp, and exceptionally organized, she ensures that nothing falls through the cracks and no client ever feels like they have to ask twice.
Behind the scenes, she is the infrastructure. In front of the client, she is the welcome.
She brings something to Nouveau International Design™ that only time and genuine talent can produce — a career spanning over two decades of design work that has touched everything from compact urban condos and lavish private estates to commercial spaces, holiday retreats, and luxurious yachts.
She built that portfolio in Atlanta before making the move to St. Augustine in 2017, and the depth of that experience walks into every project with her.
Sally Ann works with the Nouveau team on select projects, and when she is in the room, clients feel it. Her approach is rooted in truly understanding what a client wants — not just what they say, but what they mean — and translating that into spaces that are practical, refined, and entirely their own.
Designing a waterfront home for her own family gave her a personal appreciation for coastal living that now informs her work in a way that is both intuitive and deeply considered.
The energy behind the brand and the eye behind the retail floor. At Nouveau International Design™, she leads marketing, social media, photography, and public relations — shaping how the world sees the firm and ensuring that what they see is worth looking at.
Her design sensibility drives the curation of Nouveau’s showroom retail offerings, where she selects with the same intention she brings to everything else. Julia has a natural talent for balancing contemporary style with unexpected texture, layered color, and the kind of eccentric piece that makes a space stop you in your tracks. She believes deeply that every house has the potential to become a home, and that conviction shows up in both the spaces she influences and the content she creates.
Julia brings enthusiasm that is genuinely contagious and a creative instinct that keeps Nouveau’s brand as considered and curated as the work itself.
Maggie Freeman is proof that the best designers find their way to the work through living it. A longtime resident of the Ormond Beach area, her passion for design was sparked by remodeling her own home and never stopped there. She is currently completing her design degree at Seminole State College, graduating fall 2026, and she brings a hands-on energy to the Nouveau team that shows up in everything she touches.
What makes Maggie an asset is her range. Elevations, 3D renderings, procurement, spreadsheets — she steps into whatever the project needs without hesitation. That kind of versatility is rare, especially paired with a design sensibility that is entirely her own and a genuine enthusiasm for the work that is impossible to miss.
She is building something here, and Nouveau’s clients will be better for it.
