Condo Refresh

After downsizing to a one-bedroom, one-bath beach condo, our client wanted to give the space a fresh new look while maintaining the cozy sense of separation that made the home feel comfortable and distinct. She loved the idea of a refreshed, elevated interior but was concerned that opening the kitchen too much would make the condo feel more like a studio.

With the existing kitchen footprint unable to change, we focused on creating a thoughtful transformation within the space’s existing architecture. The design maintains a visual connection between the kitchen and living area while preserving enough separation to define each space.

An entertainment center was also an important part of the design. Rather than settling on a single solution, we developed two options inspired by the images and ideas our client had shared with us, translating her inspiration into concepts tailored specifically to her condo.

The result is a simple, refreshed, and cohesive beach home that feels intentional and comfortable—proving that a smaller footprint doesn’t have to mean sacrificing character, function, or a sense of distinction between spaces.
